Table 3. Effect of two A. rhizogenes strains on survival and root formation of de-rooted seedlings of Pinus radiate. Mean values ± SE from all treatments of a parameter were compared and those means denoted by the different letter are significantly different (P<0.05) using Duncan's multiple range test following ANOVA (p-values for % survival, % rooting and No. of roots/cutting were 0.676, 0.014 and 0.230, respectively). Data of percentages were converted by arcsin transformation prior to ANOVA. Control = de-rooted seedlings without inoculation with the agrobacterium.
