Analysis of dwell time histograms (representative histograms are shown in figures 4 and 5) measured at + 30 mV in symmetrical 150 mM KCl and 100 m M Ca2+. Closed time histograms were fitted with three exponentials (t c1 - t c3), and open time histograms were fitted with one exponential (t o). Each value represents the mean ± SE of the number of measurements reported (n), each representing control recordings of a single channel in a separate bilayer.
