The values in the third column represent the estimated returns of switching from hybrid to Bt hybrid. The values in fourth column represent the estimated returns of switching from hybrid to Bt OPV. The symbols *, and ** denote that seed prices are Rs 540/10g, and Rs 298/10g respectively for Bt hybrid. We used a seed rate of 222g/ha for Bt hybrid. The symbols ***, and **** denote that seed prices are Rs 62/50g, and zero respectively for Bt OPV. We used a seed rate of 939g/ha for Bt OPV.
